Ramadan:  The Holy and Artistic Month

Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar that lasts for 29 to 30 days.  During this period, participating Muslim brethren refrain from eating, drinking and sexual intimacy with their partners during daylight hours with a purpose of teaching patience, spirituality, humility, and submissiveness to God.

Different countries from different parts of the globe meet Ramadan with various decorations.  In most Muslim countries, strung lanterns light up the streets and public squares to add to the festivities. In Western countries, many Muslim households decorate their homes to make the season more special to their kids. In other countries such as Egypt and Turkey, cultural activities take place at the same time.

Management is one of the biggest skills that an individual possesses. Some people have an instinctive ability to manage things under his/her control. Women are assumed to be good managers than men. They are naturally blessed with this talent that’s why they are able to manage the activities and budget of a home so actively and precisely. No one teaches them to do so but the observation and better judgment of circumstances help them with this objective.
